MessageMakers Terry Terry Receives Creative Community Award

This past December, the Arts Council of Greater Lansing awarded MessageMakers President, Terry Terry, with the 2018 Creative Community Award. This award recognizes those who have spearheaded creative placemaking, supported culture and advocated for creativity in the Greater Lansing area.

A Hand-Made World to Celebrate the Season

We had a lot of fun building the MessageMakers world out of paper. We did it to express appreciation for our creative community, to say “Thanks!” to our clients for a wonderful year, and to challenge ourselves to try something special.

Distinguished Alumni Award for Terry

MessageMakers president Terry Terry was awarded the James Madison College Distinguished Alumni Award. The Distinguished Alumni Award is given to alumni who have attained the highest level of professional accomplishments.

Terry delivered the commencement address for the 2015 James Madison graduating class on May 9, 2015 at the Wharton Center.

CATALYST: Capital Region Prosperity Project

CATALYST: Capital Region Prosperity Project is coming on Tuesday, October 21st at the Lansing Center from 8:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. Business owners, young professionals and community activists are invited to join others from Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties to be a catalyst for rapid, positive progress towards prosperity for our region, and to contribute to a five-year Economic Prosperity Plan.

Michigan BluesFest 2014

Join us for the 2014 Michigan Bluesfest! The festival includes live performances from many bands including Sharrie Williams, Champagne & the Motor City Blues Crew, Greg Nagy, and The Big Boss Blues Band.

What to expect? An expansive beverage tent, music clinics, Kidzbeat, ethnic food vendors, and most importantly – 5 STAGES of LIVE music!

The festival will be held the weekend of September 19th & 20th, Friday & Saturday.
