CATALYST: Capital Region Prosperity Project is coming on Tuesday, October 21st at the Lansing Center from 8:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. Business owners, young professionals and community activists are invited to join others from Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties to be a catalyst for rapid, positive progress towards prosperity for our region, and to contribute to a five-year Economic Prosperity Plan.
MessageMakers is producing the summit in coordination with many local partners, including Lansing Regional Chamber, the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, Michigan State University, LEAP, CAMW!, and LCC. The event will include group work sessions, special presentations from speakers including Governor Snyder and George Franklin, as well as visions from area leaders with concepts for what the Capital region can become.
Building on the outcome of its work sessions, CATALYST will begin a series of conversations to engage the private sector in regional planning. Attendees will be encouraged to continue participation in the long-term goals of the project with an active network of professional cooperation and personal accountability.
