This is the introduction to a piece produced to build awareness of the home within the community. This segment draws heavily upon an address Governor Russel A. Alger gave to an audience of Michigan veterans in 1886. In recreating this, Message Makers attempts to recapture the power with which this unamplified speech was originally delivered.
