As the new year dawned, Michigan welcomed a new governor and a slate of other officials. MessageMakers was there, helping to produce the festivities.

Immediately following the ceremony, footage was driven down the street to MessageMakers' post-production facilities in Old Town. After a few hours of furious editing, the completed video was then brought to Wharton Center for the inaugural ball.

The crowd responded enthusiastically to the video, which led directly into a speech by the newly sworn-in governor. On stage, Governor Snyder praised the production team for their efforts, as an example of the "Power of Michigan" he had described on the Capitol steps.

"They already built this video in the last few hours – so go for it, guys! We've got our video guys here. You deserve a big shout out. That was outstanding!"
