Best "what we did this weekend" story we've had recently: The Mark Schauer for Congress campaign turned to MessageMakers for support of an event welcoming Former President Bill Clinton. The house was packed (and the fire marshal was sweating!).

We pulled things together quickly and were show-ready two hours in advance, no big deal for us—but our contacts with the campaign were shocked, as they often face events where sound checks continue as the VIPs are ready to walk on.  (Pro tip: do not keep former presidents waiting backstage while you fix your mics.)
