As I completed a production plan for a last minute request for proposals today, I was reminded how much I appreciate the Michigan Film Office's Production Directory.
We do plenty of video production, but sometimes we encounter special requests outside our usual specifications that require additional contractors. Within five minutes, I had searched out several promising contacts, reviewed their past credits for relevant experience, and was already e-mailing them about our project and their availability.
